Hey,

I'm writing up the guides to help you guys out with the RPG, but I thought I'd put this out here so you know a bit of how to start.


In the Starting Area
Make sure you talk to "Well-armored Soldier" in the beginning area. You have to finish the conversation to begin the quest.


Getting and Equipping Gear
To get gear, talk to Armorer Albo once you are inside Ardent Stone. He will provide you with gear.

After you get the gear, click "Equip Character" at the top of that screen. Equip everything he gave you.

Then, go to Soldier's Rest (one of the buildings). Here you will want to stay the night. This is necessary to get your health to it's new maximum.


Finding your First Monsters
Inside Ardent Stone, you have three places you can go: Ardent Shores, Ardent Ledges, and Ardent Wilderness.

You want to go to Ardent Ledges. The Ledges have only monsters that you can handle.

Once you travel to the ledges, click "Hunt." This will randomly select 1-2 spiders for you to fight.



What is Chakra? What is Ki? What is Kuzushi?
I will write more as soon as I can, but these are the basics.

Chakra:
Chakra, or Chikara, is the strength of your soul. As you use Ninja techniques, or "Jutsu's," you will lose Chakra and become weaker. To recover it, you will need to stop by an inn such as Soldier's Rest or drink a potion.

Ki:
Ki is the strength of your Ninja techniques. This never decreases. Strong Ki will allow you to perform powerful Jutsus.

Kuzushi:
Kuzushi means to imbalance, or to make someone make the wrong move. Kuzushi is used to defend against Ninja techniques.



What are Jutsus? What is Jutsu Mastery?
Jutsu's are Ninja techniques you will learn which allow you to perform magical attacks. These techniques can do many things, such as heal you, damage others, poison others, or make your character stronger.

To learn more in martial arts, go to the Fighting Halls in Ardent Stone and ask to learn some Jutsus.

To increase the number of Jutsu's you can learn, you must learn more of Forms, and you must take points in Jutsu Mastery as you level.


Equipping Jutsus so you can use them in combat
Jutsu's must be prepared before you fight an enemy. First, you must purchase the Jutsu from the Fighting Halls. Then, you must equip them from your inventory.

To do this:
1) Click "My Inventory" any time you are in a place. This is at the top left corner of your RPG screen.

2) Under "Select Inventory Type" change the drop-down menu to "Jutsus" and click "Go."

3) Equip the Jutsu.

4) In combat, click "Chakra" instead of "Attack." This will open up a "Chakra" console where you can choose the Ninja technique you wish to use.




What are Attack Types? What is Tactical Mastery?
Unlike the Ninja techniques, or Jutsu's, you can also learn attacks that are based on the weapons you hold. These attacks are Military forms and can be extremely powerful.

Attack Types are based on the weapons you use. Since using weapons does not require you to change the way you stand or walk, these attacks cannot be countered by Ninja techniques or Kuzushi.

The power of these attacks are determined by your Strength. The only defense against these attacks is your Armor.


Tactical Mastery:
Increase Tactical Mastery to increase the number of weapon attacks you can learn.
