Riddle of the Day!

Mmmkay. I love riddles and i have a lot of them so i decided to make a game!

Rules-
No spamming

Riddle-
Melisa is a short person. She lives on the 12th floor of her apartment bulding. But when she comes home from school she only goes up to the 10th floor and walks the next 2 floors to here apartment. But on rainy days she goes up all 12 floors. Why on rainy days does she go up all 12 floors and not on clear days?

She is short, so "10" is the highest button on the elevator she can reach. BUT, on rainy days she has her umbrella to push the buttons!
