I'll will give some rep points to the winner of this contest. You have to submit a poem that you wrote. There will be two judges me and Sparkle175 Ok we'll give you rating from 1 to 10

This is a copy of the poem I wrote. It's based on my girlfriend, but she never moved away or had to leave or anything. But I would write this if she did. It's name You Had To Go.

You Had To Go

You are always so near
Deep down in here
But you are so far away
And I know you cannot stay

I remember our last kiss we had
Why did it have to be so sad
We had so many memories as a couple
And now they are so mournful

I wish I could always be with you
Now our time would be so true
I wish we were birds in the sky
And we would fly so high

But now that's just a faraway dream
Not everything is what it would seem
I just wish it would become real
Now I just need time to heal

If I could see you again once more
You would open the great door
To my beating aching heart
That had to be torn apart

You had to leave and go
Now I'm not sure if I know
If I could let you go
Now I'm not if I know

But I'm always so near
Deep down in there
And you are always so near
Deep down in here

Death

The walls are closing in
I'm know I'll never win
I put my fists up ready to fight
But I cannot move for the chains are too tight
I hear a scream of terror from another room
Then a cool breeze wanders disguised because it is really doom
I knew that whoever was in the other room is gone
And i too would be before dawn
Then I finnaly knew
That if I want to be happy I'll have to leave the earth too
So I take a deep breath and look death in the eye
And I tell death I'm ready to die

In the Ocean so Blue

Here I swim
In the ocean so blue
With the turtles
The fishes
And something new.
I see the sharks
And I see a seal.
Swimming next to me
Is an electric eel.
I swim like a dolphin
With the strength of a whale
And I use my legs
Like a fish uses it's tail.
The waves are so small
They could fit into a pail
Here I swim in the ocean so blue
Then I wake up
As if it isn't true

I cant believe you're already gone.
I only knew you 5 days.
But our lives will have to carry on,
As if they never changed.

My heart is welling up with sadness.
This poem is making me cry.
Even if it does lack creativeness,
I hope its an okay goobye.

Even if we arent allowed to chat,
I hope we play vmk sometimes.
But if you dont have time to do that,
Just remember this poem.

Misunderstood

You know that I am Different
But you do not know me
You know that I am Difficult
But you do not know me
You know that I am a human being
But you do not know me
When you look into my eyes
You see no emotion
Behind those fake Smiles
Are a million miles
Of hate, depression, and misery
A million miles
Of cries, sobs, and fear

You might know my name
You might know my fame
But you do not know me
You might know the person I act like
But you do not know me

You know the games I play
The stuff I say
My hardships, disappointments..
My cries of help
How I fell and nobody caught me
You think that i forgave everybody..
Obviously, you do not know me

In my heart..
You see the lies I have survived
The pain I felt when I managed to stay sane
You will see the heartbreaks I pushed through
You will see how much I sat in the corner, crying..
You will see how my hopes and dreams are dying
You will see how the truth is hidden..

Just so I can cry and nobody can judge me

Nobody can set my soul free

But i will survive through the difficult times..

There was something so different about you

Out of no where you called me on the phone
I wanted to sit there and talk to you forever
You were so new, so crazy and unknown
I just knew that our friendship would never end

Two years and we are barely holding it together
What happened to the way this all used to be
I never wanted you out of my life ever
I sat there for a long time pretending not to see

I miss you and everything you were to me
Ten years from now we will look back on it all
We will be older and finally be able to see
That love will stand the test of time and never fall
AS IT COMES TO AN END
As I sit here in class,
I observe my friends
And look forward to the year
Coming to an end.

It's gonna be sad
To say good- bye.
