Taekwondo means: The Way of the Hands and the Feet. USTF and IFT taekwondo (pronounced Tay Kwon Do) are the original martial art created by General Choi Hong Hi (pronouced 'he') ATA Songum Taekwondo (pronounced Tie kwon Do) Is a diffrent version of Taekwondo and not the orginal version. ATA has white belt, yellow belt, orange belt, camo belt, green belt, purple belt, blue belt, red belt and black belt, I think. The kind that I take (ITF) has white belt, yellow stripe, yellow belt, green stripe, green belt, blue stripe, blue belt, red stripe, red belt, black stripe, black belt. The stripes go on your current solid belt, and once you get to black belt there are degrees, like 1st, 2nd, and third.
