i cant believe im already going into middle school....its like idk a month away!!! where did my summer go? its like a vacation with ur lil brother....YOU have to babysit all the time and have no fun....and then right when you can, its over! i mean, i expect it to be over some day....but not this soon.
Make that n like 3 weeks.

Where we live the last school year is not even over yet. The kids here get 10 days off between the school year. They have 10 more school days until this year ends and the next year starts the last week of August so don't feel so bad!

CJLHoops could better answer that from a kids perspective. From a teachers, it is awful and I hate it! We do get the same amount of time off as a summer vacation but it is split up all year. We go to school for roughly 3 months and then have about 3 weeks off all year long~sometimes it is only 2 weeks off but others it is 5 weeks so it balances out in the end. It is kind of nice to have time off when everyone else is in school though because traveling is cheaper and less crowded.
I know summer is wounding off fast, but suprisingly I actually want to go to middle school. I just can't wait. I know I sound weird, but middle is going to be really cool.
