Computer school is different from homeschool. Homeschooling is much better. WE have a homeschool group in my town and we have field trips and evebts and stuff like normal school and all my best friends are homeschooled anyway.

I've noticed that allot of you people are not homeschooling because you want to see your friends, what i have noticed about homeschooling is that a lot of the time you go to some one else's house and do some crafts, for instance instead of going to school to learn about the world we invite our friends over with some food and stories from different parts of the world. same with things like biology, instead of spending hours listening to people talk about plants and looking at different types of plants we start a semi-public garden and study plants by seeing them grow and experimenting with different amounts of sun, water, soil, space, and looking at them through a microscope,etc.

But its true, you do see your friends at school a little less unless your friends homeschool too.

OMG i can't tell you how much i hate home school! (yes, sadly i have it) i wanted to experince my first year of middle school this year! The dances, the lockers, the rush to the bus, and seeing my bff every day! i'm trying to convince my mom to let me go...(it might work soon)

Well my friend takes some classes at the middle school and she can go to dances and sees her friends every day just get in a class or 2 that your friends are in.

I'm with you, (I changed my view of homeschooling, cuz that was my first day when I first posted that) I HATE HOMESCHOOLING!!! I was going to start middle school this year and I was SOOO excited cuz the school I was going to go to had alot of cool activties and dances and stuff like that, BUT THEN... my mom told me I was going to be homeschooled, so I was like no biggy cuz I hate school now anyways, but now I have no friends and I sit inside all day except for going to gymnastics once a week cuz my mom doesn't want to sign me up for anyhomeschool activities cuz shes scared she might see the lady she doesn't like who homeschool all of her kids and signs them up for dozens of stuff! truthfully I think thats messed up cuz ITS ME GOING TO THE CLASS NOT HER!!! Its me meeting REAL people! I haven't seen a person I actually know (besides gymnastics, but thats only 3 other girls) in like 1 month! I HATE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and when I tell her she just keeps going on and on and talking about how its my fault that I don't ever go outside and to me its just like this:

its just SOO horrible! I hope you don't have to be homeschooled and put through the torture.

I love being home schooled because it gives you a break and you dont have to worry about school. Socially it is great because you go to some outing half the days of the week and you make so much more friends!
