So, I know some schools have uniforms or atleast really strict dress codes. So, what kind of uniforms or really strict drees code do you have?
Currently, I don't have a uniform or dress code because I'm homeschooled, so I can go to school in my pajamas. But i wanted to know what kind you guys have because I might have to go to a private school next year and I want to know how much of a torture it is.
If you don't have a uniform or dress code, please post what either you had before or one that your friends wear. It can even be for things like choir or something after school. Just basically uniforms is the topic, but I'm most interested in school ones.

Well, I have to wear a plaid skirt or khaki pants or skirts with a plain white, light blue, or dark blue polo and we can wear school sweat shirts in the winter. Pretty simple. I like not having to worry about what I'm wearing in the morning, and just waking up and throwing on the same thing every day. But I do like dress-down days, where you can wear whatever you want.
I've heard of some schools where they have all the same things to wear like skirts, shorts, pants, shirts, HAIR TIES, SOCKS, and SHOES.
I can't believe they would be that strict. plus my friend goes to a school where if you dye your hair, you get detention, and if you don't change it back soon, you get sent to the principal. And she can only wear ear-rings that are little studs, and only certain jewelry, like no bracelets and only cross necklaces. I think its a Catholic school, not sure though
Totally off topic, but my avvie finally works!!! Woot woot!

My school is REALLY strict. They'll give you a conduct referral, (which is a paper saying that you did not behave, listen to the teacher follow the school codes, blah, blah, blah) if you don't tuck you shirt in. That is so wrong, if we tuck our shirt in we'll have to iron it the next day. The other thing is that you have to pay like 80 dollars for both skirt and shirt. Then if you join their volleyball team YOU have to pay for them. My school stinks, that why I'm going to another school next year. Oh and our skirts are blue and gray squares, our shirts are blue. For guys their pants are navy blue and their shirts are baby blue. Yep my school is a prison chamber alright.
P.S. Catholic schools do make you wear certain type of shoes or or shorts. They also don't allow any type of jewelry only boring studs, except on dress down days. Which isn't that often.

Our school doesn't have uniforms but the dress code is pretty...extensive I suppose you would say. It's not really that hard to follow the rules, and most of the time if you break one they don't even notice most of the time. Not that I really have. It just has to do with length of skirts, width of tanktop straps, and stuff like that.
We have uniforms for chorus concerts, really long black dresses (which aren't that bad...) and leather shoes with a bit of a heel (). We also have to wear black tights with them...yeah. They supply us the dresses though. And the shoes. We have to supply our own tights.
Idk what it would be like to have a uniform for school. I suppose it would be a little more convenient, especially for me because I sleep until the last possible minute to have enough time to get ready for school. I have to get up at 6am!! I don't think I would care either way really, whether I can pick out my own clothes or have a uniform.

Thanks to everyone who voted me Best Storyteller and Most Likely to Take Over the World. You guys rock!
At the school I went to last year, you had to wear a white blouse (for girls) and a navy blue skirt that MUST be down to the knee. If you had a sweater, it had to be navy blue. You can have your hair anyway you want, any earrings, and any shoes. We get to wear sweatpants under our skirts if it was seriously cold (which it was) and on dress down day they gave us total freedom except no tank tops, flip flops, or anything shorter than down to the knee. So yea.
I get up at 7 or 8(depends whether I stayed up late the night before) and just put on comfortable clothes and change if I find out I'm going somewhere.
