TEAMS
My school divides us up into teams: 6-0, 6-1, 6-2, 6-3(PA), 7-0, 7-1... etc. Only 6th grade has a #-2 team, and really there is no team 7-3, 6-3, or 8-3 - there aren't enough of us to make a team, so it's just Team 3 (6th, 7th, and 8th grade PA combined). The only time I ever get to see anyone on other teams is during Encore classes and during math. PA is like AP, only in middle school (PA = Project Arrow).

TEACHERS
All the PA teachers are very nice. I don't particularly like my Reading teacher, but that's because she doesn't like the fact that I have a lot of missing/last assignments in her class (I can't help it, I'm a perfectionist! )= ). My English/Geography (also known as Social Studies) teacher is extremely funny. She plays guitar and is a drummer in her band. I'm not kidding! And she's interested in rap music (and pretty much all music). She talks with her hands a lot and very loudly. Science teacher is OK, I won't say anything about my math teacher. I've found that most of the regular class teachers are always cranky. I have to resist falling asleep in math. Encore teachers mostly the same.

OTHER:
Other stuff include that my brain melts in math class, I watch the clock in chorus, and that that if it's a special day I get to skip math because the math class is for team 7-0, not 7-3, so if 7-0 flips their schedule around for a field trip or anything, I get to hang out in the school library the whole period along with the 1 other person that is also in my same situation. And just surf the net using the library computers. Split Lunch-Science schedules on either monday, wed, and friday (or was it tuesday and thursday? I don't remember, I just follow where everyone else is going). We have Science, go to lunch, and come back to science, and skip Connections.

My schedule has changed three times since the first day of school. (That was only 3 days ago.) But I hope that this is my final schedule!

-Homeroom (Lasts 5-10 minutes.)

-Academic Enrichment. (Lasts 45 minutes.) This is just study hall in case you were wondering.

-Spanish 2. (Lasts 45 minutes) This class is for high school credit.

-Chorus (Lasts 45 minutes.)
*Locker break. Lasts 3 minutes.*
-Social Studies. (Lasts 1 hour.)
*Lunch*
-Science. (Lasts 1 hour.)

-Mathematics. (Lasts 1 hour.) Blah. I hate math.
*Locker break. Lasts 3 minutes.*
-Language Arts. (Lasts 1 hour.)

Here's my schedule, I don't like it too much:

A block: Algebra One Honors
B Block: English
*Break for 7 minutes*
C/D Block: Social Studies (then in the next semester, Science)
E Block: P.E./Health (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I have Health, Tuesdays and Thursdays I have P.E.)
F Block: Study Hall/Chorus (Chorus is Monday and Friday)
*Lunch for 22 minutes*
G Block: Family and Consumer Science (for the first quarter. 2nd quarter: Music, 3rd: Art, 4th: Tech Ed.)
H Block: Latin One (last year was Introduction to Latin)


I don't like my F block Study Hall. The teacher doesn't let you do anything but homework and reading. Last year in D block Study Hall we could do pretty much anything we wanted to, it was in the cafeteria, lol.

Eigth grade is basically a repeat of seventh grade, except the teachers are less nice to you on the first day.
