Polar bears have lived in the Arctic for thousands and thousands of years, do you honestly think they're going to move now? You shouldn't have them suffer just because you refuse to buy a decent car, or refuse to recycle. They WILL die if you don't care for the Earth, if you refuse to believe true facts. It's called consequences. Everything has a consequence and we're facing it right now for all our fuel emissions and pollution, called "Global Climate Change" or "Global Warming".

Another thing. . .

OK, suppose you had a 6 story house. Now, suppose you were on the 6th floor and you had two friends with you. One of your friends said that she thinks there is a fire in your house, but it was on the 1st floor of your house. You wave it off, saying that there is no possible way there could be a fire in your house. The other one of your friends says that she is starting to smell the faintest bit of smoke. Again, you don't believe her. Then you get a call from your next door neighbor saying she sees fire in your house. Still, you don't believe her. So then your friends call the fire department and they say they'll be right over, and when they do come the door is apparently locked. The only way to open it is through a key, which you have in your pocket. Your friends even say that if you give them the key they will go all those flights of stairs for you and unlock the door. But you still say and are persistent about you thinking that there is no fire. Finally you see the fire with your own eyes because it has spread up to the second and third floor. Now, because of your ignorance, your friends and you are stuck in a burning house with the fireman locked outside.

Now, if you were that person, all you had to do was call 911. It's like global warming. All you have to do is recycle and buy a fuel efficient car to do your part. But you don't because you think global warming isn't real. I've given you two situations where all you have to do is take your child to the hospital or call 911 and go down some flights of stairs to save your house. It may take a little effort like driving in your car or running, but isn't it worth it to save your child or your house?

Yea, Global Warming isn't true Al Gore is just some fool trying to get rich fast. Don't pay attention to what the world is telling you. It will happen at a time but not now we're not in the 'future' yet lol.

Well, no. I personally don't think that we're the ones who are causing global warming though. Mars's polar ice caps are melting, pluto is getting warmer, and we don't live on either of those planets. The sun is just getting warmer. But keep recycling instead of littering. GREAT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT!

Fantasylion is right Al Gore is making up stuff. Corn oil is causing famine. Although i do believe the earth is getting a little warmer, but Al Gore's plan is bogus.

Global warming is definitely happening, but we are not the main source of fault. The earth is inclined for these things to happen somewhat naturally. While some things that humans do definitely do contribute to speed up the process, it would have happened eventually had we never even been here.

Look at Los Angeles, for example. Even when the Native Americans inhabited the area, they referred to it as the valley of smoke, because of all the natural smog rising from the valley.

So. . .his plan. . .to take care of the planet you and your ancestors have lived on for years. . .to take care of this Earth. . .to love it. . .to cherish it. . .is. . .bogus?!

It's bogus to use up less gas to drive a car?

It's bogus to recycle?

It's bogus to care about the issues?

Al Gore is a smart man who has known about global warming before it became a serious problem. He studied, used graphs, and showed pictures and proof in his movie.

To any of you who think he's doing it for money, why would he do that? To get the word out about a crisis striking OUR HOME, is that for money?

In February I went to a conference where professionals (with degrees in scientific study) talked about global climate change. NOT ONE said that it was false, another religion. Instead, they approached it with care and grace, giving us packets of what we can do to reduce our CO2 admissions. Sure, a few kids in the groups didn't believe in global warming, but they promised to HELP.

Like I have said in a few posts, you can HELP PREVENT a problem even if you don't believe it's real. Is it really THAT HARD to buy a fuel efficient car when you're older, take shorter showers, and recycle? That's all you have to do. That's all the Earth needs you to do. I, like countless others who believe we are facing a problem, will do more and take care of the rest. Why do you insist on not helping a planet that you have lived on and your ancestors have lived on for all your lives?
