I don't want to get into an arguement here, but I honestly don't think we're the ones causing global warming. I can't tell you why because then we'd get into a political discussion which is against the rules, I think.

It is not against the rules at all. I think it is important for you guys to be able to express your ideas and listen to others. What is against the rules would be personally attacking someone.

Example:

Great to say: "I disagree with the statement because........"

Bad to say: "That is the stupidiest thing I ever heard. You are crazy......."

It just made me really sad and I felt like I wanted to do something about it but I really don't know what I could do.

None of that is even real. The earth won't flood, last time it flooded, this time its fire. But it won't happen in our time hopefully. Do you think that the so called WE ALL DIE IN 2012 is real? It isn't, just like they said in 2000, were going to blow up because of the computers. Nope didn't happen. Yes, global warming will happen in like a billion years.

Thanks,~GF~

In my opinion, you are half right. People have been saying the world will end since the beginning of time, and have been setting dates for awhile, one of those dates being in 2012 because that's when the Mayan calender ends or something like that.

But those are from causes we can't explain. We can explain global warming, and if we don't take action to protect our Earth.

People who say global warming isn't real is kind of like if they have a child and the child gets a cut on their finger. They disregard the cut, believing it will heal itself, not bothering to clean it or bandage it. But when the cut turns into an infection, they are still not believing it, because they don't want to admit it's their fault because the child didn't know any better. They wait until the last minute to call the hospital, at which point the child is at risk for a disease because of all the germs in the cut.

If you love this Earth you will go to any measure to protect it, like a child, even if you don't believe it's in danger.

LOL!!! Ok, thanks Well I was going to say it but then I forgot it (I have a memory the size of a peanut. LOL) I just remembered my mom and dad gave me an entire lesson on global warming about a year or two ago... and I remembered it yesterday... oh well I can ask them to explain it again

I'm not saying it doesn't exist, I'm just saying that we're not the main reason it's happening.I mean yeah I think we should recycle (even though my family doesn't. ) and use better products for the environment, but I think we're only like 20% of what's causing it. Like I said, the other 80% I'd have to ask my parents to explain it again lol. I'll let you know as soon as I find out

Al Gore brought this up to make MONEY! He wants people to follow him so he can make money. He buys carbon offsets, sure. From his OWN company. He gets the money back. Then what does he do? Use it for himself. The recent concert put so much more carbon into the air it's not even funny. He is helping to kill the planet, not helping it.
Global Warming is NOT TRUE!
Don't believe everything you hear. The data recorded was only for the past hundred years. Out of what.. 1 billion other years? He can't predict what will happen in the future, so stop worrying.

Oh yeah! And crop oil will cause even more problems.
These recent trucks running on corn fuel? They're getting it from places where the people LIVE on corn. This is causing hunger, and famine. You think that'll help the world? Huh! I think NOT.

Sorry, I needed to get my feelings expressed.....
But I honestly don't believe a word of it.
Guess what? Polar bears are dying out b=BEACAUSE of US! We are messing up our earth! The thing that bugs me the most is that we know how to fix this. PLEASE SAVE OUR EARTH!!!!!! EARTH IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!PEACE ON EARTH!!!

I asked my dad to summerize it (he's really good at science & stuff.)

The ice caps on mars are melting, and humans don't live on Mars. Also, pluto is getting warmer. Our family's theory is the sun is getting hotter, and while doing these things to protect our earth like recycling, using products better from the environment, not littering, etc. are GREAT, we're not the ones causing global warming. I mean face it guys, the suns has gotta get hotter at SOME point, right? And no, I don't believe the world is gonna end because of it. Well, anytime soon lol.

Polar...bears...are....not....going....to...die... .
They can find somewhere else to live.. like Alaska, or deeping into Antartica :l
They are smart enough to move, and if the water is messed up, I think they'll get the idea that it's bad to swim in. Geez, they're fine.

Yesh, my child is going to die ^^
