Wow, I am so impressed with how incredibly well educated about global warming the posters above are. It doesn't matter which side of the debate you are on, you are very well spoken about the topic! I know that if my class could write this well, I would be so thrilled. Just remember, debate is an awesome thing but debate should never get personal. Think about what the other person has to say and react to their statements (not them personally). A truly good debater can disagree with anything without making enemies. I would love to keep that spirit here at BTT. Keep the debates going but don't get personal. :create:

You know, 2% isn't alot, but it's something. Global Warming gets worse because of factories that we use to get the things that we need in life. Imagine, we cut those factories off and then people die. I know it isn't alot, but next thing you know it, it can at anytime escalade to 10,20, possibly 30. So, I don't think we can tell the future. We have to wait and see. The end of the world can happen at anytime. That's what I believe. And you know, it isn't too late for the scientists to change their mind about it..

I don't think the world is warming. More like getting unbalanced. The ozone layer traps in heat. With pollution the ozone layer gets thinner so therefore more heat escapes into the cold empty space. It just means when it's hot it's gonna be HOT and when it's cold its gonna be COLD. No more middle.

I am glad that at least people are thinking about it. I personally think that even if it is true or not, people need to start taking more responsiblily for the planet. Some people don't even recycle!
