My hobbies are playing with mom's make-up, reading, playing with my sisters (more of a chore actually since Mom makes me keep them out of the kitchen while she cooks), playing with the dogs, and taking care of my rose bush. Mom says that if I can keep this bush alive through the hot summer, she'll let me get some new plants next spring.
Right now, I'd have to say taking care of my rose bush... I have to go out & trim it this weekend, if it doesn't rain. It's been raining just about everyday for the past week & a half. Ick
Mom wants to grow a veggie garden, but our dogs would just tear it up if we put it in the back yard. And she says the neighborhood kids would just steal the veggies & tear the plants up if we put it in the front yard.
My mom tells me all these stories about when she lived with her grandma & they had a garden. More like a farm because they grew all their own veggies, right down to green beans & cu***bers & sweet corn. And it was huge, mom said the garden itself was like a quarter of an acre. Okay, so I have no idea how big that really is, but mom said it was huge.
I think that is really big for a garden. Our garden isn't very big, but we have squash, zucchini, cu***bers, green beans, onions, tomatoes, and peppers.
