this summer when you are out of school and your parents are at work?

Do you stay home by yourself, play on the computer and veg out all summer? Do your parents make you do chores while they are gone?

Do your parents plan activities for you (daycare, day camp, etc) if you are too young for a job?

Uh, well..

My mom goes into work really early so she can bring it back here and work from home...so sometimes we go out to lunch and stuff...

I'm volunteering a lot so I can get my Confirmation Hours....if you know what that is, anyways.

I'm babysitting on Wednesdays.

And lots and lots of chores.

EDIT: Oh, and we might go to DC this summer. Well, me and my mom want to go, but my brother and my dad just think it would be boring.

(1st day of summer and it's raining =-( )

Well my parents planned there schedules so I'm only home along about once a month but they trust me jus enough to stay home alone and they encourage me to go outside and practice for basketball season


Edit: I also am going to volunteer at vacation bible school at my church but I set that up not my parents

I don't really know what I'll do in the holidays... I think I do all the things I usually do, just the whole day long XD Maybe I'll make motto days... I think I'll find some fun things to do in the holidays!

Maybe I should go to a summer camp(my teacher suggests it), but I don't think I'll do it.

I might babysit my friend's little brother..but other than that it will probably be a normal summer :l

i use the computer.. all day, with my dad shouting/yelling/screaming at me

I made a Summer To-Do List. For the first time in my life. Because normally I hate to-do lists. But since otherwise i'll turn into a couch - er, swivel-chair potato this summer, I decided to make one. It includes:

1. Getting good at ping-pong (aka table tennis).
2. Run to and from this dam twice every morning (aka, run)
3. Expand vocabulary and actually spell them correctly (I was watching the spelling bee on TV last night, fell asleep and had a dream about words falling out of my left thumb. Wonderfull inspiration )
4. Learn to draw actual living things, and not just shapes.
5. Learn to play chess, and not get beaten by my online opponent like 95% of the time.
6. Learn to play soccer, and buy a soccer ball.
7. Join this class in badminton.
8. Read books.
9. Research weird stuff that coincidentally all mostly begin with the letter P (such as physics and psychology).
10. Shop.
11. Memorize world map (country locations).
12. Call my friends to play, rather than waiting for them to call me.
13. Defeating CrazyRainbow TwinkleSnoop. ("must... defeat...mus..t...")

And more. Yeah.
