Yesterday went from HAPPY V-dAY! to a sad tear filled day. A guy went into NIU and injured people and even killed some and himself. They say that its just like Virginia Tech its just so scary knowing that any of these people could be related to my friends. I already know a girl who had a cousin in the university that day but luckily was in a diffrent room.

I just ask now that we remember the lost souls
and see how their familys have fell apart
so that we together can understand
what violence does ........because we need to be peace makers
not violent....
Because we are the new generation and the last generation was improving but then its passed to us and we need to take responibility and learn that
its harder to hate than to love

I heard about it on the radio this morning, they say that the death toll was 6 people.

They got into a few more details, they talked about how it was after I think a Geology class, in the lecture hall. The man, an ex-student, stood from the stage and started rapid fire. The shooting didn't last long because he then turned his weapon on himself.

I was so distressed about it. It's horrible how people do these things.

I have learned a kid in our class's dad was just at the university a few hours before the shooting


Its just one of the things that u have to ask What if?

No, it really wasn't! I am not making light of it, don't get me wrong but there is NO comparison!

They don't know who they are selling them to, you know? It could be a hunter () or a shooter. There's just no way of telling what they are going to use their weapons for.

I personally don't think that *those kinds of weapons* should be sold legally. We should just all solve our problems much more civilly. With peaceful words and chocolate. Because chocolate makes people happy.
