Tubaplayer, you have good points but I don't think that the extremes is what people want to go to. Using renewable energy (solar, wind, water) will help a lot, as well as decreasing our dependence on oil and petroleum. Native American living would help a lot, but there would be a lot of downsides and arguments that people could make that would prevent. We need to advance as a society but we also need to make sure that what we are doing is better for the Earth.
