i thought this was hysterical!! it happened about a week ago in my classroom:

We had a subsititute teacher at the end of that day, and at the end of the day we have two bells ring, the band bell {the bell where the students have extra time to go and pick up the instraments from the orchestra/band room} and the normal bell. The band bell rings first so they are not late to catch their buses. The substitute thought she was being smart by asking each band/orchestra student what instrament they played so they could go and get that instrament. One of my guy friends told the teacher that he needed to go and pick up his air guitar. And in these exact words she said, "Oh really? thats wonderful! go right ahead darling, and get your things."
He got away with it. she didn't even notice.
