With the new school year coming and some of our current mods getting older and moving on, it is time for us to look for a few new moderators. While being a moderator is a volunteer position, it is a very serious job and only members in good standing will be considered.

Here are some reasons you SHOULD NOT apply:

1. Your feelings will get hurt if you are not chosen.
2. You are not at least 12 years old.
3. You do not have parental permission to apply.
4. You have a very full schedule. You don't have much time to spend here.
5. You have not read every single rule at least twice: http://www.betweentalk.com/faq.php
6. You are not willing to learn from our other mods.


OK, so you are still reading and want the 'job'. Here is what you need to do.

Send a pm to Tinkerbell explaining in 5 or more sentences why you would make a good mod. This should be written in paragraph form. You are applying for a job so make sure you double check your spelling and grammar. Applications that do not meet these requirements will automatically be rejected.

At the end of the pm, leave an email address for your parent. If you are considered, we will contact your parents by email for their permission.

Our current mods have done a fabulous job of making this look easy, but it isn't. There are many serious decisions that must be made.

Many factors will be considered in choosing new mods. Please do not apply if you are likely to have your feelings hurt if not chosen. We will contact you privately if you apply. Please do not discuss it on BTT. There is no specific date mods will be chosen by.
