In celebration of our one-year anniversary, PowerGirl and I thought it would be a good idea to give awards to users for different categories.

The categories are...

-Most Random User
-Best Username
-Funniest/Most Random Thread Title
-Most Meaningful Post
-Sweetest Personality
-Coolest Avatar
-Cutest Couple
-Most Helpful Non-Mod/Admin
-Most Likely To Be Famous
-Best Storyteller
-Funniest Joke
-Best Game in Trivia and Forum Games
-Most Artistic
-Most Likely To Take Over The World
-Nerdiest About the Coolest Things

Wow. That was more than I thought. lol

So, if you could PM your nominations to me or PowerGirl that would be great. Oh, and you get to vote twice!

Rules:
1. Any categories for posts/threads must be posts and threads BEFORE May 10th, 2008. Not that we don't trust you guys, but we don't want any cheating just to get a nomination.
2. If you nominate an avatar, just remember to include a description of said avatar just in case the person you nominated changes it.
3. You can nominate as many people as you want per category, but just be aware that not everyone you nominate will get nominated. If they do, great! But if not, just remember that we want to get everyone in but we can't have too many.
4. Have fun? lol
5. Good sportsmanship! If you don't get nominated/lose in a category, remember to be gracious. Being mean to other contestants will not be tolerated and will result in an infraction.

PRIZES:

Prizes for winners include rep points from both PowerGirl and I, for a total of 14 shiny rep points (and maybe we can get the other mods and admins to give winners some as well) . Speaking of shiny, Holly might even give you an actual medal to add to your collection!

I'm going to say no because it takes away from the people who get nominated that aren't banned. Say the person who is banned wins. We can't give them rep or give them a medal, and someone else who isn't banned doesn't get a chance at a prize.

Just another thing, you can enter however many names you want for each category, and you don't have to nominate someone for every single category either. Just remember when it comes to voting you can only vote for one person in each category.

The deadline to send nominees is the end of the day on Saturday, May 17, 2008. We want to get the award winners announced on the day of the anniversary of BTT! So we'll have voting start on Sunday May 18th. We'll have the nominees announced on Sunday May 18th. So get those nominees coming in because we need to get everyone sorted out. We're not sure how many people we'll have per category, it depends on how many people get nominated for each!

You don't have to nominate someone for every single category, it's okay if you skip some. But we need nominees! So send them soon!

Unfortunately I just found out that the award system we use does not work with the new version we are using. You can still do the awards and the user can put it as a title under their name for now. It should be updated soon. Sorry guys!
