Did anyone else get summer reading lists? I got one, and I have to read two of the books they select for us.

I have to read:

"Petey" by: Ben Mikaelson
and. . .
"Once Upon a Marigold" by Jean Ferris.

What about you guys? I've already finished "Once Upon a Marigold" but I have to wait until my request comes in for my other book.

My school doesnt give us summer reading lists, but i think they expect us to read on our own. A few of us actually do, but i know many of the kids in our class dont.

Yeah. I love reading though. Most of my friends don't, as you said. Most of them only read because they have to! Oh well.

Our school never gave us summer reading lists. Now, teachers that we met at orientation gave us stuff to do, but it was only for extra credit that would count towards the school year when it started.
