Us too we read it and watched the movie, the book was great. It was cool how she made a house of bones. I loved her dog. It's sad how he dies.

We also read sign of the beaver good book too.

I really loved Island of the Blue Dolphins. I read it a while back and I still remember it, that's how great I thought it was. It was a really touching read, but I remember the boys definitely not liking it too much!

i read the book in 5th grade i liked the movie and the book but most of my other classmates didnt like it. one fell alseep :\

my class read the book this year and watched the movie. practically no one payed attention to any of it. just ask dc11vanillacoke, shes in my class.

Island of the Blue Dolphins is pretty good. Its said how her dog Rontu dies.....he was such a good doggy! Wait, does Rontu die from fighting those other dogs and getting wounded or just from old age? Its kinda said that the girl (can't remember her name) doesn't fight away the dogs that are fighting Rontu, I mean, he could die out there!!! But I like Rontu number two!!!!I saw the movie in class and I was laughing when Rontu dies because the dog actor just like falls down and its kinda funny, said that he dies though.
