I have been playing this game a lot and I’d thought I’d right a review about it. Madden 09 is a great game that any football/sport fan would want. It has very lifelike graphics that make you feel like your actually playing. I love the use of the madden test so you can see what level you should compete at. Its rated E for everybody so i think a football fan of every age would love it. The Xbox live portion of it is One that I think needs work.
First off, it’s Rated E for everybody but you cant play it on xbox live until you are 13 which i think is ridiculous. Then when you turn 13 and play it its not at all what you think it would be like. The gameplay is delayed a lot on xbox live so it makes it really not that fun to play. So I would have to give the xbox live portion of it a thumbs down. Overall Madden is a good game that any sports gamer would like.

Girl World Daily: just for kicksBe a Green TeenFrom the Editors of Girl World Daily
Good Morning, Sunshine! • Don’t linger in the shower. Cutting just two minutes saves gallons of water, plus the fuel it takes to heat the H2O. • Don’t scrimp on brushing your teeth, but shut the water off while you’re doing it. • Is your school close (and safe) enough to bike or walk there? Good exercise and kind to the planet. The Lunch Bunch • While you’re at it, ditch the sandwich baggies. They don’t biodegrade, so try a plastic container you can use again and again. • Toss used cans or bottles into a recycling bin. No recycling program in your school? Make it happen! After-school Cool • When your computer is at rest, nix the screensaver, which is an energy waster. • No. 1 rule? If you’re aren’t using it, shut it off. Do you really need three lights on and the TV as background noise? What’s for Dinner? • Switch to cloth napkins — classy. • Don’t run the dishwasher unless it’s full. If yours has an energy-saver mode, use it. • You do dishes the old-fashioned way? Don’t leave the water running while you’re washin’. Fill the basin, scrub away the ick, then rinse. Into the Night • Shut off your computer, TV and radio. Better yet, unplug all electronics. Standby mode uses up lots of unnecessary energy. • Layer up so you can turn down the heat. Lights out! |

Emma’s Pet Project
From the Editors of Girl World Daily

At a huge historic hotel in downtown Los Angeles, dogs are everywhere, outside in the courtyard and inside the hotel lobby — canine craziness for cinema’s sake. The movie centers on 16-year-old Andi (Emma) and her brother Bruce (Jake T. Austin), both way into animal rescue. They live in a foster home — with a no-pets policy. So they turn an abandoned hotel into doggie digs for furry family member Friday (and then some). We catch up with Emma for a little question-and-answer sesh.…
Q: Have there been any on-set bloopers?
A: Well, I had to run out of a building with about 20 dogs following me and the ground was wet. One dog hit my knee, and I fell down and skinned both knees. All the dogs trampled me! I was really upset, but then I was happy because I didn’t have any bloopers before that.
Q: In the movie, you and your BFF have a crush on the same guy. Has that ever happened to you in real life?
A: Yes! Since me and my friends have really good taste, we always like the same boy. But usually we work it out. No one has ever been in a fight over a boy.
Q: Have you ever liked a guy who didn’t like you the same way?
A: I think everyone has!
Q: What kind of dates have you been on lately?
A: When I was in England, I went to dinner and a movie. It was fun. I love England! There are really cute boys. I got to meet Rupert and Daniel [Grint and Radcliffe of Harry Potter] when I was there. Two of the nicest people I’ve ever met.
Q: What’s your favorite thing to do in L.A.?
A: My friends and I go out for sushi every weekend.
Q: What are your essentials for having a good party?
A: The worst thing is when you’re in a big space and there’s not a lot of people. That makes it awkward. It’s nice to let people bring other friends because then you can meet new people.

Review: Dream Share

I was chosen to review a book titled Dream Share. So, here’s my review.
Dream Share was a very good book. The plot was very original. I’ve never read a book like it, and it was very entertaining. I loved the relationship between the two brothers. They’re relationship made me smile multiple times while reading. The descriptions were very good. I felt like I was there with the two characters. Great book!

OK, here’s how my game works. You post some lyrics (words) of a song, and the poster below you has to guess what that song is, and then post their own song lyrics. You ready?
Oh, well imagine
As I’m pacing the pews in a church corridor
And I can’t help but to hear
No, I can’t help but to hear an exchanging of words.
Any ideas?
What song are you currently listening right now???

BTT Awards 2009 – Come here to vote!

Things are a little different this year. Last year, we didn’t get many nominations at ALL. So basically we looked at what we had and just sort of picked a couple for each category. Haha. This year was, well, different. If any person or thread got more than one nomination for a category, they were automatically put through to voting (unless they won that award last year.) After that, it got a bit unorganized and that’s why some categories have more than others. haha.

Nancy Drew The White Wolf of Icicle Creek

I loved Nancy Drew as a kid and it is so fun to get to ‘be’ her in the game! I thought from the cover and name that the game would be scary but we didn’t think so (well, except for the wolf howling)

In Nancy Drew: The White Wolf of Icicle Creek, players find Nancy far from home in the middle of the Canadian Rockies where she is investigating several suspicious accidents that have occurred at Chantal’s normally cozy Icicle Creek Lodge. To make matters worse, an eerie wolf’s howl in the distance is haunting the guests at night, causing Nancy to wonder if the accidents and the mysterious wolf are connected.
Playing as Nancy Drew, you embark on a mystery adventure that will tax deductive reasoning skills as you tackle intricate puzzles and master a variety of gesture-based mini-games with the Wii Remote™.
