I made this poem in school today for a spelling thing in reading. My rents and grandmother loved it....

My head is on high alert,
Security! Security is so rare now,
Antagonizing screams fill the air,
Shrieks from down the hall,
The air is still and warm,
We have no insulation, no money to afford it,
My mother is reading literature, mysteries,
My sister is recluse, locked away,
Sometimes, my life feels artificial,
Crafted by my family and not by me,
Crying, shrieking, antagonizing,
Different words with different meanings,
But now the words dwindle inside,
I used to feel inferior,
But now I am enslaved by my own father,
Emotionless, I want to shriek at him,
"No! I won't do it!"
But my larynx is frozen in place,
Unable to speak, cry, or shriek,
My mother sobs,
My heart and my mind try to siege,
But my body is frozen,
Each night, I line up for my beating,
At the end, I bet my father wants to annihilate me,
Oh, how the pain swells, antagonizing,
Bleeding....
Shrieking.....
Begging.....
Crying......
