Yeah, VMK is a pretty cool game. I play it, and I've met some pretty awesome people there that I still try to keep in touch with, even though I don't play as much as I used to (via VMKForums). There is a lot of information on the wiki, and the extremely experienced players are the ones who actually write the articles. You should try it.
