I'm suddenly back from my addiction to the Nickelodeon Avatar the Last Airbender Marathon... WHY MUST IT END WHY WHY WHY!!!
Anyhow, I'll reply just to get my mind off of those episodes I missed. See, this is why I rarely watch marathons. That, and most of the time I can never find one to watch anyway.

Firstly, who DOESN'T disagree with animal abuse? If one even cares at the very least about life, most people will say that they disagree. I think that those that do agree are the few people in the world who believe that humans are the only life that matters.

Secondly, I feel sad about those puppy mills. You might agree with it for the same reason as one might agree with animal abuse, but just like animal abuse, it's sick. Then again, what if there were no puppy mills? No pet puppies, maybe. Then maybe we should stop getting pet puppies. Supply and demand, you know.

Thirdly, animal testing is a kind of tricky subject - it depends. Personally, I think we should be testing on criminals - better than the death penalty. We should be getting rid of stupid animal tests (like monkeys being forced to swallow drain cleaner), and only test on a few animals - and even then have them live in the best of conditions. I wrote a blog entry on it, which was inspired by my friends "Controversial subject" presentation topic for school. Is it humane? What if there were no animal testing then? That's not an option either. In the name of science, we need animal testing. Just not stupid ones, and as few tests as possible. And only for selected, "criminal" animals. An eye for an eye, so to speak.

As for the vegetarian things, I believe that you can kill an animal as long is you have a good use for it, such as food, clothing, and possibly shelter, or other things necessary for human life. If not (like just for sport, or putting the head on a wall as a hunting trophy, or unnecessary fur), that's just a crime. And if you put it through more pain than necessary that's cruelty. Since the animals we eat are all from cattle farm or whatever, then whatever. We raise the cattle, we help them survive, and in return we eat some of them. I see nothing wrong with that.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that animals are a part of life. We need them, and we shouldn't be taking advantage of them. We should treat them well, and only hurt them as much as what we need to survive.
(odd fact: KFC abuses their chickens. Down with KFC!)

Okay, I'm going to go Google those episodes I missed.
