I have read both. I must say that I wasn't the biggest fan of Eragon, but I liked book 2 better. I think that the author has a little trouble making every single sentance interesting. Book 3, Brisingr, is coming out soon! It has a golden dragon on the front. Did you know Christopher Paolini was homeschooled and started the book at 19?
