Oh my god...

Okay, first of all, you completely misinterpreted what I meant. I didn't mean that it should be locked to only 9-12 year olds. What I'm saying is that when you flaunt your site as "tween", it should have a "tween" rating. If I went to a tennis forum I'd want to talk about tennis. When I used TTC, I expected to talk about Toontown. You shouldn't ban people who don't want to discuss the aforementioned things in the aforementioned forums (there's always Misc.), but why join if you don't want to discuss tennis, Toontown, tween stuff, whatever. But the majority of the people who use those forums came there to discuss those things. And I'm not saying that EVERYTHING tweens want to talk about is PG. Not at all. But kids are beginning to mature at this age, and will occasionally want to bring up slightly more touchy subjects. I'm not trying to scar the under nine kids here. Okay? That better?

Second of all, Tinkerbell already closed it for discussion. She owns the forums, she gets the final word, and she left the rating as it is, final. No more questioning. I don't like it, but I still like G-rated BTT enough to stay. So why does it matter?

Third, I find it really quite funny that you would make a Stickied poll over an issue you had with a member who has yet to reach fifteen posts. Go me. (And it's obvious that you did. Your post from this thread contains, in essence, the same argument from the "Rules for this Forum" thread, and you made this thread on the same day that you posted your reply.)

And finally...really, look at BTT. It doesn't take much searching to find that it's packed with PG topics. For example, take the "Schooltime Crushes" thread, which flaunts stuff forbidden under the G-rating, and yet you yourself have posted in it, acknowledging your daughter's PG "growing up" in a positive light. This thread isn't a bad thing; heck, I've posted in it myself. This kind of stuff should be embraced, but to go with the G-rating, it should be deleted.

This thread isn't much more than a defense for your strawman.
