My elementary school graduation was just alright. We had to dress up and we walked down the aisle in the middle school autorium carrying a small bouquet of flowers. Since I was a class citizen, two other kids and I lead the Pledge of Allegiance. Afterwards we sang our class song, "Waiting on a World to Change" by John Mayer. A few people from our grade performed piano pieces, dances, and poems. Then our superintendent droned on about this being the most important times of our lives. Our retiring principal gave out awards for achievment and improvement in our classrooms this year. We were then given nice little diplomas, walked off stage. Then we had a tearfest watching a slideshow the art teacher put together of us throughout the years. We headed to the middle school cafeteria where we were served food and had others sign our yearbooks.
So it was alright. Pretty fun actually.
