The Birthday Poem
Because my birthday is is 23 days (!!) I thought i'd make a little poem about it.
I wake up in the morning,
The sun is shining bright.
I run down the hallway,
Without a single fright.
The living room is lively,
with stremers and balloons.
My presents in a pile,
Wrapping paper with moons.
As the day moves on,
I can't stay in my night clothes.
I put on a special birthday outfit,
and fill my hair with small bows.
All my friends and family,
are treating me like a queen.
It might seem like heaven now,
but there's much more to be seen.
When the sky turns dim,
and the moon shines bright.
I walk to my mother,
with all my might.
I give her a hug,
she gives me a kiss.
And she tells me,
Happy Birthday, my Little Miss.
