When you make a new thread, scroll down to the bottom, underneath the text box. THere should be something like, "Insert poll" Check that box. Then, after you make the thread, you will make the poll.

OR

After you have made the thread, go to the top of the first post, where it says, "thread tools." Click on that, and then "Add a poll to this thread."
